Tasty Burgers

~Homemade burgers~

 

Makes about 8 burgers

 

Ingredients

1 big onion
2 pounds ground beef
1/3 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tabelspoons tomato sauce
1 teaspoon mustard
1 teaspoon salt
ground garlic and pepper as desired
8 sesame-seed buns

 

Method

©Peel and chop the onion very fine, mix the beef and bread crumbs

 in a large bowl and add the onion. Mix well.

©Beat the egg and mix in the tomato sauce, mustard, 

oil, ground garlic and pepper. 

Add the mixture to the meat and keep mixing.

©Divide the mixture into eight equal portions. 

Take a portion in your hand and roll it into a ball.

 Put it on a flat surface and press down

 to make a flat burger about 1 inch thick.

©Cook them under the broiler for about 10 mins on each side, 

or fry them on a lightly oiled pan. 

©Finally serve with all your favorite trimmings such as:

(lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mayonnaise, 

cheese slices and ketchup) in sesame-seed buns.
