Just when everyone is coming back home from their vacations, I take off & start mine! Though its going to be shorter than usual, but I am already excited because I will be going somewhere I never been before! ;)

I’ve always wondered why its so hard for us to communicate and keep in touch with each other even though life nowadays has made it much more easier than before.. I mean we’ve lived throughout generations of improvements in communication methods & still, I’m sure there’s more to come.. Remember when we only had the old house phone with one line, (two lines were luxury in the beginning), then the introduction of the one-tonne, not-so-mobile mobile phone, then the other ugly, very basic & still heavy 'Anees' & 'Hudhud' mobiles.. (lol I wonder who came up with the names) & so on.. till we reached where we are today.. where even the little kid who barely talks owns a mobile phone.. & most people own 2 or more mobiles, have internet access, not to mention the sophisticated multi-lined house phone.. yet it still seems like a super hard task, to reach over & connect to others.. =/

One of the things that's rare or to put in better words: new, in the Arab market is consumer satisfaction & listening to consumer feedback.. You rarely find business managers listening to complaints or even doing anything about them.. We got so used to such treatment, that we don't even expect much to be done about it..
This however, has been proved wrong to me recently, especially after my previous entry about Zaatar w Zeit's experience.. shortly after that was posted, I got an email from the managing director: Mr Walid Hajj, enquiring about what happened & trying to resolve the issue.. through our brief email correspondence, he demonstrated exactly what an ideal manager should be in our country: a professional who has passion in what he is doing, yet open to others' critizism; even if it was negative; & taking it into consideration..
Thank you Walid for all your efforts.. & for being so open-minded & cooperative.. I am happy to give the place another chance after all.. & I wish you all the best.. =)

I've been Dubaiing lately more than usual.. mostly for business purposes.. I'm beginning or no wait.. I AM officially addicted to it now! Yet despite this, I still love Abu Dhabi to bits.. *flying hearts*

Getting your rolls of film developed is like expecting a wrapped present.. It's exciting, fun and you hope it turns out to be something you will really really like.. xD I'm still waiting for my rolls to come back to me all developed from yesterday's 2nd Dubai photo shoot.. This time with my fav bro.. spent all day going all around Dubai's places taking many shots, experimenting with shutter speed, various lenses & different light.. No digital shooting whatsoever.. (>_<") Yup it was a challenge & yup definitely not my last time..!

Summer is nearly over, and yet I still didn't feel a bit of it.. For the first time in my life, I just spent it all taking over in major projects as well as trying to make a change.. I also had to cut my planned vacation into half coz something came up & I got to come back sooner.. Surprisingly, I am looking at the bright side of this & actually intend to make the most of every single second of my upcoming vacation by the end of the month.. =)
Anyways, here are some photos taken by Taz from his summer vacation.. He's a beginner yet the photos turned out really well! ;)

The infamous Lebanese Zaatar W Zeit restaurant opened in Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, so I popped in for a light dinner with my bro yesterday & unfortunately I was disappointed.. mainly coz their services weren't the best.. & that by itself is already minus 99 points from the whole experience.. Their mana'eesh (which was the only thing we tried) didn't taste any special too.. The only good thing was their funny menus & wrong horoscope interpretation on their tables lol.. Anyways definitely a first & last time visit..

On the way back to AD, we were stuck for nearly an hour in this traffic jam.. ofcourse shouldn't miss the chance for more photo shooting! lol

I miss my friends.. that's the only downside this summer.. =/

Finally MSN started working again yesterday evening.. though I didn't really log in much & when I do, I barely stick around and chat with anyone much.. but when that is taken away from you.. You feel lost.. weird huh?!

Anyways, my favorite camera got sick in the wrongest of all times! Now they say it would take ATLEAST two weeks for it to come back.. X_x I suddenly lost my photography appetite.. so here are some old/new random phone cam shots..

*Is it only me, or were the days this summer whizzing by?! Maybe its because my whole 24 hours were fully occupied, and my schedule is still packed till as long as I can remember ahead.. The fruits of my efforts at work are beginning to pay off when I least expect them.. in normal circumstances, I would be over the moon with happiness.. this time however, I am feeling a little weird about it.. and I can't explain why.. =/ That won't stop me anyways from trying to achieve the long, long list of accomplishment I need to get done before September! ;)

**For those wondering what's up with msn's attitude in not connecting, and the way logging into hotmail is like trying to break into a rock.. and possibly other unusual internet glitches.. then don't worry.. It turned out to be a 'breakdown in some Etisalat links located somewhere in the sea' that lead to the online temp insanity.. read more here..
