One super early Thursday morning.. I decided to pack aaall my SLR film cameras & lenses which haven't been used in a 100 yrs coz I heavily depended on my extra-spoilt digital babies.. & head off for a pure & extreme Dubai and Sharjah photoshoot with my Pink Sushi! It was time anyways those attention-deprived cameras needed some LOVE from me.. lol
It was extreeemely hot, a little tricky to walk around the sand in heels & carry all those cameras, not to mention carrying a one-liter cold water bottle in some people's bags! *wink wink* =P lool But that didnt stop me from taking probably the best photos I ever took.. aaaall in delicious film rolls (including yummy B&W films) of breath-taking scenes.. I will not show them here.. but I did take a few digital shots of our unforgettable adventure.. ;)

This was somewhere in Sharjah.. we wanted to shoot the Ferris wheel.. (especially with tempting B&W film shots).. apparently it was completely empty.. I mean who would want to be grilled alive by the burning hot sun at that time?!

I dunno why this freaked me out.. *goosebumps*

My Canon SLR was happy it was finally taken out of the dusty area under my bed.. lol

Amongst all our excitment.. my Seagull film roll decided to die on me & I didnt have a spare one to replace it! *Noooooo come back to life.. you can't do this to me!!*Ditching the Seagull & moving on the rest of the trip..

Everytime I say I would never go there again, I go against myself & end up going..again! For the 100th time, Friday's dinner visit was disappointing! Food wasn't okay, dessert sucked & their service wasn't the best.. The only thing I enjoyed was the funky waiters' costumes, & the company of my only sister.. =)

I feel very important.. I am currently a successful QUEEN at work! *wears her bzzzzzt-proof sheild* "gooloo mashallah!" *hugs myself*

Yup.. it's fake.. for those who usually check my Flickr page would probably know what I am talking about.. Mac mini is NOT going through a rainbow.. I had to fake the whole Ad to fool my friend whom always goes off and buys the things I wanted to get her as presents! *grrr* I got sick of that so I had to think of an alternate way for her to stop running off to the store & getting it instead.. The idea of having colorful Mac minis was the only way to stop her from buying the boring old regular white one.. lol With the help of photoshop.. the illusion became a reality & I convinced her that its true!
I am posting this to clear any false ideas that may have been left with any of you, & hopes of owning a colorful Mac mini.. You never know though, maybe the Mac people would come up with such colors in the future.. but definitely not in August 2005! =P

My summer sucks so far.. I hate the unpredictability! (>_<")

I know I say this everytime, but nowadays its extremely more hectic than usual.. especially since this week started.. It's as if I am floating on a very very fast river, and I am trying to pick stuff on the way but only if I am lucky I would get to have a bigger handful from some.. lolI am not complaining.. especially that it puts my mind off alot of other things I don't want to think about..

I've been passing through a depressing phase in my life, which explains why I haven't been updating much around here.. Though it was dark but it showed the real light of those around me.. People whom I least expected to be there.. were actually there to show their support, care & compassion.. I'm grateful that I did actually went through this, because I came out of it with more appreciation & love for the real treasure that I found in them..
-Fire Brand: Receiving a package is already a pleasure, but receiving a package from someone you don't expect is a joy on its own, especially when its something as special as what you've done.. Thank you for sharing a piece of your creativity & extra special thanks for the even sweeter card..
-Shaima: You actually popped out of no where with your call.. though you won't realize this, but it meant so much more than just a few minutes of a mobile call.. You reassured me that you are down there with a safety net in case I fall.. so Thank you..

Thursday 30th of June, was the birthday of my bestest friend on Earth: Samsoomah! Ofcourse no matter how depressed, or moody I was, I would never ever miss on making sure she gets the time of her life a-a-a-nd ofcourse surprising her to spice things up! ;) Ofcourse none of it would have been possible without our wild & hyper PinkSushi, Juan:my long-lost-childhood-bestfriend whom I finally found, Sushi's cuz Shadsy & crazy old Edweena! lol I underestimated how only a few people can make such a wild impact.. which was the one thing I was worried about.. =P
Happy birthday Sams & yes we will always celebrate till we reach our 90ies! (unless they make 3eyayez-friendly Hummer limos!) lol
