I officially had the longest birthday ever.. with an early kick start UAE timing till the 00:00 of New York timings.. & it was fantaaabulous! =D

Starting the day with blowing a candle off the delicious gluten-free red velvet cupcake from Baby cakes NYC.. on a horse carriage ride in snowy Central Park..

Next we went around New York City, passed by the Rockerfeller Center.. very pleasant place..

My bro surprised me with a birthday ice-cream song sang by a group of Brazlians in a Steak House restuarant.. lol it was so funny & totally memorable.. *thanx bro*

In the evening, we were cycled to Serendipity 3 because I had to let my bro try it before we came back at least once.. & this time I tried their "Pink Ice" as a drink & it was heavenly!!

Finally to the end the day, my bro & I did something completely new & very unexpected.. we went to Broadway Comedy Club to watch a stand up comedy show, it was hilaaarious!! Even though we were hesitant, but it was definitely an unforgettable experience & we shall visit again when we go back to New York again! =D

Did I tell you that I absolutely LOVE NEW YORK?

I'm officially & absolutely in LOVE..

From the minute I stepped on the train from DC to NY, to the moment I laid foot on the buzzing streets of 5th Avenue & being dazzeled with Times Square lights.. Being swept off my feet by the sight of the Apple store.. & walking by Central Park everyday.. I am sooo in LOVE WITH NEW YORK! xo

Big, faaat, thank you goes to LoLo for showing me around in New York & treating me to an amazing experience & meal in Serendipity 3! Beautiful, cozy place.. friendly people & delicious food! I am definitely going back before heading home..

I think I've seen too much of the White House one would need in their life time.. Until I visited it (3 times now), I have changed my mind completely about it.. its much much smaller than I expected! Infact, alot of things in the White House are always protrayed bigger than they really are, like the press conference room, which was the size of the old swimming pool! Also, alot of people there are much down-to-Earth than I ever expected, and they were very friendly too.. They also depend on themselves alot (they print their own business cards!).. So, it wasn't all that they make it seem.. but it was a useful and inspiring experience..
Like I said, I couldnt take photos of everything due to security reasons.. so I will leave you with a few shots..

This is officially the most spontaneous thing I have ever done in my life!

On the same day.. literally, I decided to go to the US!! I only had a few hours to rush, inform family, drag my loyal companion- my fav bro, make last min heavy winter shopping & pack to catch a plane to DC!! Ofcourse, there is a looong version of the story (the power of 9alat el-este5ara), but I will stick to the short one for now.. =P
It's been 3 days since I last arrived here, and it's been crazy & I was exhausted to the bone everyday.. The purpose of the first part of my American adventure is business, and one of the 100 reasons I love my job.. Myself & 3 other lucky people got to go to the WHITE HOUSE three times now.. for exclusive attendence to the official press conferences, special extended tour INSIDE the white house and a very exclusive meeting..
I couldnt take pics of everything due to security reasons, but was able to take pics of most of the visits there and will share in a seperate update.. ;)
