That was the sweetest (& funniest) thing I ever got in a long time! My friend thought this is the purrfect gift to give me for finishing my Masters Degree! lool.. Maryam, I lurrrrve it & I will never take it off, thanks so much!! xoxo

On the other hand, I FINALLY finished a personalized gift I have been working on since.. hmm.. 6 months now?!! Burnt & cut my hands & fingers several times.. got a scar in my leg.. & endless hours of putting stuff together then removing them all & starting from scratch again! Until finally, FINALLY, its done el7amdella! I am so happy & excited! All I got to do now, is wrap the huge thing & send it off to her.. & I really hope she likes it! =D

You must be thinking.. what is she talking about?! I will reveal it, once I give it to her! ;)

El7amdella things have been going so well.. work-wise & personal-wise.. We will finally move & the offices look so cool.. I also got great & exciting stuff happening at work..Also, I'm about to fullfil one of my long lost dreams, one thing I was dieing to do, & its just a matter of time (& things I got to do here & there) & lots & lots of praying.. till it becomes true.. So wish me luck!!

I'm excited about tomorrow, I wonder what Leo has in store for us.. ;)

What would you do if at the end of a long day at work, walk to your car & see this?!

A bee hive! Yes, you heard me.. A BEE HIVE! *sub7an Allah* A swarm of bees just decided to settle for his ol' Nissan to make their new kingdom! Abdulla.. (the owner of the car & now.. the bees) was so surprised, even with a speed of over 100km/hour, they are still stuck in place, enjoying the ride I guess.. People tell him its a sign of good luck.. but I think its good luck as long as you remain sting-free! lol

Thanks Abdulla for allowing me to take a few shots.. & if you are planning to keep that hive, then I would suggest you consider a door-to-door fresh honey delivery business.. =P

On another bee-unfriendly note.. We have been blessed with rain & a beautiful weather lately.. Allah yr7mna bra7meta ameen.. & as usual.. taking advantage of the amazing weather, we head to the 3ezba & desert to enjoy nature in UAE at its best.. (especially in a speeding motor carts).. =D

I was also talking to a friend & telling her how cold the weather have gone to in the past few days.. She didnt believe me until I took pics from my Beast's temp indicator.. (even while driving at times) (>_<")

The BEST party theme I have ever witnessed is last night's birthday party for MedGirl organized by the one & only creative M&Ms! The "Operation Room" theme was carefully planned and thought of down to the smallest details.. from a full body patient shaped cake layed across a metal table.. to a "red" chocolate fondue fountain.. to operation masks & gloves.. x-ray backgrounds.. bloody foods & drinks.. lots of fake blood.. to water injection fights.. and even dressing up Sophie the dog in the hospital theme!! It all looked amazing!

Although it may look disturbing, but it was truly impressive & an example of going beyond the usual.. Hats off for the creative party planner! *round of applause*

Flamboyant (aka Samsoomah).. You were truly missed, we really hoped you were here with us! =( All the BEST in your FINALS.. People: wish her GREAT luck coz its her MBA finals!! *gulp* May you pass it with glaring A's!! *hugz*

Change is a fact no one can deny or avoid.. it happens whether you like it or not, and it's up to you to decide how it affects you.. whether it makes you a better or worse person..
2007 = the year of transformation for me.. changes both good & bad were constantly occuring.. & it was also the year of moving on to the next level of my life.. in many ways.. It's not as easy as it sounds.. & it takes alot of hard work.. Hard work @ first trying to resist, especially when it happens when you least expect it and try to undo it and change things back.. .. but when life is not in your side.. then even harder work to try to accept it and decide how it will alter you.. then.. all you got to do is frame all the good memories.. tuck in all your feelings away.. and hope for the better while you move on..

Life is too short.

Looking back at my 2007 resolutions:

1) Move into my new room.. Done I lurrrve it! *must work on my graffiti wall though*

2) Give birthday gifts ON TIME - or at least just a week delayed - NOT several months!! (>_<) *bad baaad kitty* Done.. 80% of the time!

3) Graduate from my torturous MBA program successfully YAAAAAAY!! *disco lights & confetti*

4) Get some *hot hot* new set of wheels So very done & they are sizzilin' hot! *vrOom vrOom*

5) Visit New York & London.. (or at least one of them this year) =/ Pending.. hopefully this year.. but I did visit Sydney, Shanghai & Seoul! =D

6) Not sweating over things (or people) that don't matter

7) Get a virtual make-over.. =/ this is sooo painful! It's taking forever & I hate how clueless I am! *arrgh*

8) Connect with long-lost friends & keeping touch.. this was hard given all that was happening.. =/

9) Get promoted.. work-wise Done with a title too! =D *el7amdella*

10) Update my journal more often.. (>_<") I think the opposite has been happening.. lol

I spent the eve of 2008 with a big bunch of wild girls by the beach, and the 1st day of 2008 with my family & crazy cousins in our farm! lool So it seems like a good start, and hopefully 2008 has better things to come.. *I can feel it!*

So now for the traditional resolutions, my 10 for this year are:

1) Be a better person.. better spiritually.. personally.. & health-wise-ingly.. (must stop ditching my doctor!)

2) VIRTUAL MAKEOVER! If I don't change it this year, I will shut this place down! *rOoOoar* musst scare myself

3) New York OR London.. must happen.. one way or the other! *inshallah inshallah inshallah*

4) Staff up! Gotta get some extra hands (trustworthy, dependable & oh-so-hardworking hands) for the office.. It's about time..

5) Now that the textbooks are outta the way, read 10 books! *must get that book light into action!*

6) Go back to addictive photography expeditions, learn new tricks & work on those long-lost albums I've been postponing since forever..

7) Spring cleaning! My work pc, my office, my room, my closets.. need to get alot of junk outta my way!

8) Spend more time with family.. I've been way too occupied with other things, plus I owe them big time!

9) CELEBRATE finishing my masters!! Parties, travelling & gift-giving to people around me!!

10) Hold on very tightly.. to my Faith, to close friends, to family & to my principles.. no matter what happens.. I will NOT let go..
