[Phuket
Island, Thailand:
Part II -
August 2004]

Elephant rides..

Riding away..

How many pineapples are too many?

Dried seafood wrapped in bags to
go..

Steamed crabs fastfood Phuket style..

More crabs.. from a distance it
looked too weird I thought they
were grilled chickens! =P lool

Phuket Jashe3.. =P

1 kg = 35Bhat

Peanuts anyone..?

Pepsi & Lipton Ice-tea.. Thai
version!

Fresh home-made coconut ice-cream

Lonely..

Ready to board the boat heading to
James Bond Island
(Its called that way coz that was
where one of James Bond's movies:
The Man with the Golden Gun was filmed, & ever since the Thai
took advantage of that & turned it
into an tourist attraction) =P

On standby..

The sky was getting gloomy..

Looking back..

Then it started raining heavily..

Stopping by an Island on the
way..

Parking lot.. =P

Thai-style fridge.. this is where
fish, shrimps & lobsters are kept to keep
them fresh for cooking anytime..

Lobster say your goodbyes..
before you are served for lunch..

At a distance.. a man swims

The Island Mall.. =P

A masjid on the island!

An inside look at the island
village..

A favorite pet choice: Cats.. ~purrr..

These kids were so friendly &
escorted me the whole time I was on their Island..
They gave me a little tour around,
holding my hands & talking to me
They certainly loved having their
pix taken.. =)

Even on a floating island.. they
still have internet!

All the houses were kind of
floating around..

At the end of the way..

More fishing 'fridges'..

Time to leave..

A last look before we ride away..

Rocky islands all the way back..

Heading the way..

Leaving the boat behind to have a
heavy shower..

Phuket school kids performing in the
mall..

McDonalds.. Thai-version.. =P

Our hotel's lobby.. Sheraton
Grande Laguna

Going down..?

Standing high..

On the roof of our villa..

Looking down..

Canoeing away..

Flowers by the pool..

A closer look..

Taking a break..

Overlooking the Laguna..

A peaceful horizon..

Driving inside..

This is usually found
everywhere.. They pray around it & put all
sorts of 'presents' for
blessings..

A romantic service: one boat, one
live cook, one musician & a table for two.. ;)

Sailing by..

Finally in the airport.. a glimpse
before we depart.. ;P
