Announcement: New Year celebrations cancelled in Dubai
دبي في 30 ديسمبر / وام / أمر صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي رعاه الله بصفته حاكم امارة دبي بإلغاء كافة مظاهر الاحتفال بمناسبة اطلالة السنة الميلادية الجديدة في دبي التي ستقام ليل يوم غد الاربعاء .
وامر سموه الجهات المعنية في دبي بتنفيذ هذا الامر واتخاذ التدابير والاجراءات اللازمة لتعميم هذا الالغاء على مختلف الجهات ذات الصلة وذلك تضامنا مع الشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق ومايتعرض له قطاع غزة واهله من تدمير وقتل وتشريد من قبل الآلة العسكرية الاسرائيلية

It remains a good thing to see that main Arab countries cancelled the new year festivities because of what is happening in Gazza.
Actually what next? true that morally the cancellation of festivities made a difference with us -less siins for Muslums around the World- but in what sense did we sooth Gazza’s people? In reality; have we done this for Gazza or for our image as Arabe Countries, and for what foreigners might think and say about Muslums?!!!!!!
Finally, thank God that at least most of Arabe Countries took the same action -cancellation of festivities- even if maybe it was not agreed and if agreed then thank God twice cause still hope remains.
