I walked back into memory lane as soon as I stepped into a ‘baqala’.. back in the day when 5Dhs seemed like a great fortune!
It wasn’t the best baqala, but it was enough to put a smile to my face just remembering..

I would kill myself if i went into a baqala! God i hate how the indian man stares at little kids sometimes and the smell is awful lol but as you said we have memories in there but i dont buy anything from them anymore, only when i cannot find any other place. i always have a feeling that the food is rotten and a cockroachis living somewhere inside those boxes.
