& the fortune cookie says it all..

We tend to look for happiness in all the places around us, but fail to discover it is just within our own hands.. We always want what we don’t have.. constantly worrying on how to get it.. & sometimes loosing sleep over that.. while we are blinded of what we really have.. & how lucky (reeeally lucky) we are to have them.. & if you look closer.. & realize the value of that.. You can become the happiest person in the world.. =)


Looking back at 2006, it was quite a ride for me.. very eventful.. very loooong.. & oh-very-bumpy.. I am glad it is over & I’m looking forward to the year ahead with hope & confidence..

So here are my new year resolutions (started thinking of them with Mimo, but it was hard to concentrate with “Plora” around) lool:

1) Move into my new room THIS MONTH *inshallah*!! (It’s been taking forever, & I am already 80% there)

2) Give birthday gifts ON TIME – or at least just a week delayed – NOT several months!! (>_<) *bad baaad kitty*

3) Graduate from my torturous MBA program successfully.. (Arrrgh I can't wait till its over - I'm going to throw the hugest party ever)

4) Get some *hot hot* new set of wheels.. *vroOm vroOm baby*

5) Visit New York & London.. (or at least one of them this year) *pleeease God.. please please please*

6) Not sweating over things (or people) that don't matter.. *at the end of the day.. it's sooo not worth it* FOCUS on those that do..

7) Get a virtual make-over.. *Yup you heard me, it's about time*

8) Connect with long-lost friends & keeping touch.. (maybe throw a party? lol)

9) Get promoted.. workwise.. *goolow ameen*

10) Update my journal more often.. (>_<")

& a bonus one: Make sure Mimo celebrates next year’s new year with Plora looool


So it is officially declared.. the theme of 2007 for me is the year of change.. so wish me luck everyone & may this year be filled with happiness & excitement for all of you! =D
