happy new year 2006

[craving: 2006]
2005 has been one of the longest years for me.. It seemed like it was many years squeezed into one! A lot of events, changes, people… and now as we enter 2006, I can’t help but look back at this FAT-hectic year & try to remember a few highlights:
-Changed my career path & got a new job.. a total eye-opener, experience-stuffer.. I totally lurrrve! =P
-MASTERS.. hisssing: *yesss maaaster*.. lol The ride is kinda bumpy given the fact that hitting the books again needs getting used to.. but I’m up for it!
-VOID’s Wedding.. *endless hugs & kisses* I MISS YOU ALREADY!!.. *goes up a mountain & screams* I MISS YOU!!
-Overcoming a few fears.. what fears? That’s for me to know & for you to find out!
-My photography going professional.. *yeaaah baby*
-A whole day of crazy Hummer-limoing TWICE this year.. *vRoOOom* make way for the queens! ;P
-Childhood friends reunions.. Juan & Amoona.. you stepped out of the 80ies right into the millennium!! lool Luv ya guys!
-Gadget-holic-ness.. 4 new cameras, 2 new lomoz, 2 new lenses, new laptop, new mobile, new ipod & its accessories, new external harddrive (I need more *jots down*)
-Scuba diving.. ongoing & lots of bubbles & fun!
-ALOT of PinkSushied Dubaiing.. ALOT.. a Dubai visit is never complete without her!
-BRAND NEW friends.. at work, at class, or through other friends.. =)
-Loving Samsoomty even more than ever.. every single adventure.. & the more to come!

It’s funny how when I finished writing the above, I thought of checking what I wrote last year.. & I am happy to say that I accomplished every single resolution I posted that day!! *el7amdellah.. mashallah x 100*.. Here is a little flashback:
This year:1) I will appreciate myself more.. as well as those who deserve it..2) Continue giving more than receiving.. (I hate maths anyways.. who says the equation must balance!)3) Go professional in my other fields.. (Its time to shine gurl) B)4) Be more organized & punctual.. (I always say this.. it sounds nice.. ok ok I will be inshallah this year)5) Wear others’ shoes more often & try understand them.. (My size is your size.. ALWAYS) =P6) Change is fun.. continue doing it.. =D7) The grass is NOT greener on the other side.. infact my grass is the greenest.. continue taking care of it!8) Meet old friends to renew relationships.. check on existing friends.. and meet new ones.. the more.. the merrier..
9) Good things come to those who wait.. patience is a virtue.. (post-it note in brain)10) Finally.. face my fears.. accept failures and worry less.. after all there is just one God who is superior to all.. keep faith strong.. and I shall be fine.. =)
Before I jump out of bed: HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEKA.. hope it’s gonna be a very happy one, & please honor us with a cup of coffee one day this year.. will ya?
