One of the things that’s rare or to put in better words: new, in the Arab market is consumer satisfaction & listening to consumer feedback.. You rarely find business managers listening to complaints or even doing anything about them.. We got so used to such treatment, that we don’t even expect much to be done about it..
This however, has been proved wrong to me recently, especially after my previous entry about
Zaatar w Zeit‘s experience.. shortly after that was posted, I got an email from the managing director:
Mr Walid Hajj, enquiring about what happened & trying to resolve the issue.. through our brief email correspondence, he demonstrated exactly what an ideal manager should be in our country: a professional who has passion in what he is doing, yet open to others’ critizism; even if it was negative; & taking it into consideration..
Thank you Walid for all your efforts.. & for being so open-minded & cooperative.. I am happy to give the place another chance after all.. & I wish you all the best.. =)

I’ve been Dubaiing lately more than usual.. mostly for business purposes.. I’m beginning
or no wait.. I AM officially addicted to it now! Yet despite this, I still love Abu Dhabi to bits.. *flying hearts*
