[mood: hungry]
[craving: Breakfast]

A few days ago, sometime in the morning, Samsoomah & I were in Khalidya area in Abu-Dhabi passing by to get something when we saw on our side as we were passing by a DEAD MAN’S BODY! Yes you heard me, he was laying there flat on his face and 2 police men were standing away from him within a short distance.. He looks as if he committed suicide coz he was right under the building and the way his body looked.. it was truly disturbing.. when we passed by again on the way back they already covered his body (and I managed to take a quick picture). Whomever he was, whatever reason he died for, I just hope God takes his soul in mercy. Allah y7sen 5atematna ajma3een..

I have also been doing alot of MissArmani stalking lately with my buddy Mai & leaving her messages with fuschia lipsticks & eyeliner in her car while she wasn’t around.. =P hehehe

Yesterday been to Dubai, and I bumped into my all-favorite-fun-in-Dubai-buddy Pink Sushi! Even though it was for a few minutes, I managed to laugh my heart out, have a very interesting conversation (+planning *mwahahaha) & leave with a big wide grin in my face.. You gurl is the best! *tight hugzz* ;)
I’ve also been to Sharjah’s MEGA MALL, and to my happy surprise I find the one shop I have been visiting abroad, opened there & exclusively only there.. the only one in the UAE: TOUGH store! Its a cross between Diesel & DKNY.. very Five Green-ish.. and I know Sushi would love it! Funky tops, jeanz, wallets and bags.. highly-recommended for those who are into these styles! Here a few snapshots:

That’s all for now.. look out for new recipes in the Hungry section next update! ;)
[Final whisper: Can't wait till March!]

[mood: Surprised..]
[craving: The old days]

“One of Abu Dhabi’s few remaining historic landmarks will soon be demolished.” – more from Gulf News
I heard about it today from friends and family.. the souq (both the old & new) will be closed soon.. very soon by March 1st it will be officially closed. In the mean time, they shut off the electricity from it to force the people to move out faster. Meanwhile, floods and floods of people are crowding the souq to take advantage of the extreme clearance sales and bargains. I had to go around in the car to take a few last shots before it all disappears.. Though it was old & traditional.. a bunch of sole traders and typical little stores.. very 80ies.. We will still miss it..very very much.. =/

On the other hand, I have a little technical problem with my website email which will be fixed soon.. so those waiting for replies.. I will do so.. SOON inshallah!
[Final whisper: Samsoomty.. get well soon!]

[mood: Excited!]

A few interesting household solutions which I found online.. I’m posting to share whether you do any house chores.. live alone or just for general knowledge:
- Want to get rid of flies or bees, but no PiffPaff in sight? Just spray them with hairspray and they will take a quick dive! *Terminator is back!*
- Sealed envelope – Put in the freezer for a few hours, then slide a knife under the flap. The envelope can then be resealed. *Haha time for a sneaky mail peek!*
- Crayon marks on walls. A damp rag, dipped in baking soda. Comes of with little effort. *more muscles for you.. & more artistic freedom for your kids!*
- Blood stains on clothes. Pour a little peroxide on a cloth and proceed to wipe off every drop of blood. *Yeah now you can hide the evidence*
- Use vertical strokes when washing windows outside and horizontal for inside windows. This way you can tell which side has the streaks. Straight vinegar will get outside windows really clean. Don’t wash windows on a sunny day. They will dry too quickly and will probably streak. *urgh seems like alot of work*
- Spray a bit of perfume on the light bulb in any room to create a lovely light scent in each room when the light is turned on. Place fabric softener sheets in dresser drawers and your clothes will smell freshly washed for weeks to come. You can also do this with towels and linen. *smelling sweet baby*
- Candles will last a lot longer if placed in the freezer for at least 3 hours prior to burning. *Seems very realistically true making one wonder why they didn’t think of this earlier!*
- To clean artificial flowers, pour some salt into a paper bag and add the flowers. Shake vigorously as the salt will absorb all the dust and dirt and leave your artificial flowers looking like new. *hmmm.. ok*
- To easily remove burnt on food from your skillet, simply add a drop or two of dish soap and enough water to cover bottom of pan, and bring to a boil on stovetop. *Classic.. very classic*
- Spray your Tupperware with nonstick cooking spray before pouring in tomato based sauces and there won’t be any stains. *Ahaaa*
- When boiling corn on the cob, add a pinch of sugar to help bring out the corn’s natural sweetness.
- Cure for headaches: Take a lime, cut it in half and rub it on your forehead. The throbbing will go away. *Gotta try this*
- To get rid of itch from mosquito bites, try applying soap on the area and you will experience instant relief. *phew*
- Ants, ants, ants everywhere. They are said to never cross a chalk line. So get your chalk out and draw a line on the floor or wherever ants tend to march. *Haha now that’s what I would call the circle of trust!*
- Use air-freshener to clean mirrors. It does a good job and leaves a lovely smell to the shine. =D

[Final whisper: I wish.. oh I just wish!]
