[mood: You decide]
[craving: Un-confusion]
Its so irritating the feeling of wanting to do something but then, when you are a mood-driven person like me, the mood is just not right. I have been going through the peek of virtual unproductiveness, for various messed-up reasons. I feel so cut-off from everyone and everything. Though surrounded by many, I feel so isolated, so confused deep down inside. It is the weirdest feeling I have ever felt, maybe one of my internal fuses needs some fixing, or maybe I am just not used to my new current situation. =\ I always tell myself, its a matter of time, and everything will run back to normal again.

Although many people (our age) seem to choose not to think about it, but the war on Iraq is on the verge of starting. I had many dreams of myself in war, and it was so terrifying. I thank my God a million times when I wake up for it just being a nightmare, nothing more. Imagine loosing your home, your loved ones, your country and maybe even your freedom just in a spur of a moment. Your intire life shatters right infront of your eyes on the expense of other people’s greed. =\Allah y3een ahel al-3iraq oo yn9erhom 3ala a3da2 edeen inshAllah ~ameen.

Sorry for this depressing post, you might as well see the other shades of life for a change.~Take care..

Its been some time since I have last been ‘properly’ updating.. Oh well, its not like its school HW or anything like that?! =P Being drifted with the busy life stream, I don’t get much chance for any proper virtual socializing either.. so just excuse me, my dear msn buddies.. I’m missing you.. but do enjoy your ‘break’ till I buy some time & flood you with messages. ![]()
Before anything, I would like to introduce a young UAE talent: Ahmed Al-Mehairi, who was kind enough to share some of his yummy photographs: ![]()

Few months ago, I have shared one example of some “language abuse” of one of the shop signs in beloved AD. That however, has been disturbingly increasing since then.. or maybe was around anyway, but I didnt notice it much.. Now, I see more and more examples of how language (whether Arabic or English) be written in the most *urgh* ways.. =s It is not only unclear by the people who read it, but also displays the ‘high’ level of the language ignorance for everyone else.. =\ I have read several articles in magazines about this problem, but no one seems to be doing anything about it.. =\Maybe we should have some people hired as spell-checkers wondering around the country and do ALOT of ‘fixing’ in shops and public places.. Or shall we introduce a new school level especially for those who write these signs….Anyway, check out few examples:

A barber shop which is supposed to be named after “Hyde Park”.. but I guess the man who wrote the sign just does his job.. ‘too’ literally.. =x

In one of the video arcades.. true some kids may not be as good in spelling, but we shouldnt promote spelling mistakes too.. note how gun is written in Arabic..

Taken by “Tareq” (Thanx 4 sharing), this is a sign in one of the fun fairs in one of the festivals.. You can feel the horror.. not of the subject.. but of how the words were used! =\
These were only few examples.. I am sure there are many more, and maybe even more disturbing.. If not fixed, lets at least hope it doesnt spread even more.. =\Before I click away, a belated warm welcome to SpyHat.. a Computer wiz with some very interesting thoughts to share..
[Final whisper: Even if you don't drive, someone can still get a crush on you! =P]
